Project Overview:
The core of this home dated from the late 1800s, but it had suffered from ill-conceived adjustments over the years. The rooms did not function well and did not take advantage of the site’s lovely ocean views. The goal of this project was to maintain the spirit of the original residence while adapting it for another 100 years of family enjoyment. We achieved that and more, with a complete overhaul, a custom window system that allows the merging of the living room and veranda to connect with the sea views, an expanded kitchen, 21st century systems, and a new guest suite.
Hear from the Owner:
“The house is fantastic. The whole family can’t believe we live in such a palace. The views are incredible from everywhere and the craftsmanship is second to none. We feel truly fortunate to be living here and having such a great designer and builder to have allowed us to achieve our vision. Thanks for all the hard work.”
Hear from the Builder:
“This project was an absolute pleasure. Between the beautiful design, the beautiful site, and the wonderful clients, this was one of the most comfortable homes we have ever built. Even the dogs contributed at the job meetings, and one of them ate the check before it could be mailed. Total perfection.”
